Position: Research Scientist – Antibody Generation Group

A leading Biopharmaceutical company are looking to recruit an outstanding laboratory based scientist to join the Antibody Generation group.

The Role

As the Research Scientist in Antibody Technology Development you’ll work on a key programme on the development of a bi-specific antibody platform for drug discovery and work in a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities:
• As a key part of the Antibody Generation Group, the candidate will be responsible for designing strategy and capturing the rare cells of interest using flow cytometry
• Design, assess and implement cell sorting strategies in a project-dependent manner supported by strong scientific rationales
• Analyse, summarise and present data to internal/project teams as well as to wide company/external collaborators
• Co-ordinate work within the Antibody Generation Group as well as with other group members
• Support downstream workflow in molecular cloning and mammalian cell culture

You

Ideally, you’ll have a PhD in Immunology and strong research experience in Flow Cytometry in particular with Single Cell Sorting, familiar with various flow analysis software (FlowJo, Kaluza, FACSDiva, MACSQuantify)

You must have great attention to detail to be able to think quickly and identify errors to troubleshoot and have experience with Cell Sorter (BD Aria II, III or Fusion).
